Don’t set the number too low I would suggest using the same value as in the video. Use this at your own risk and only if you feel comfortable digging into your registry. Found this very nice video which goes over Autoruns for Windows. This program can help you find what programs or drivers are loaded whenever you boot up your machine. This is a very powerful tool in the fight against slow boot up. Be sure to watch the video and also be sure to know what you are disabling before you do it. He also explains in the video the main reason that your computer’s registry can get bogged down and end up slowing your computer drastically.
